What is Liu Yao?+
Liu Yao is a traditional Chinese divination method rooted in the I Ching, with roughly 3,000 years of practice. It offers a structured, situation-specific reading: you cast three coins six times to build a hexagram — a pattern of six lines that reflects the energy of the moment you're in.
How is this different from other I Ching readings?+
Most online I Ching tools are automated and give generic interpretations. I am a real person, trained in the classical Liu Yao method. Every reading is cast and interpreted individually — for you, your situation, your timing.
Do I need to know anything about I Ching to start?+
Nothing at all. I send you a simple step-by-step guide for casting the coins. All you need are three ordinary coins and a quiet moment.
What do I need to send you?+
Just a brief note about the area of life on your mind — a direction is enough to begin. If you'd like, you can also share your birth date and time for a more personal reading; this is optional.
Can I ask about my relationship?+
Yes. The most useful relationship questions are about your own situation and pattern — for example, “What is the dynamic between us right now?” or “What should I understand about my own position here?” I don't read questions that try to predict, control, or surveil another specific person — for example, “Will they cheat on me?” or “What exactly will they do next?” That isn't what Liu Yao is for.
